2014 Montana Fair Closes At Midnight August 16th!
Get your fair on! You have until midnight to take part and be a part of history!According to Marketing and Director of Sales at MetraPark, Ray Massie and General Manager Bill Dutcher the 2014 Montana Fair will go down as the best since Montana Fair has been in Billings, 99 years ago!
With this spectacular weather on Saturday, I know one of two things will happen,” said Dutcher. “We will have either a new record or the second best carnival performance in our history, thanks to the work of our partners at the Mighty Thomas Carnival.
After a weather micro-burst blasted Billings Heights, MetraPark and downtown Billings on Friday evening at about 6 p.m., things got back to some sort of normalcy about an hour later. Fair goers took cover at the Rimrock Auto Arena as well as the Grandstands, Pavilion and Expo Center.
Big entertainment continues tonight on the community stage, Pond Stage and even though the 4th Avenue stage was weather challenged on Friday night it is up and running too for the final hours of this years Montana Fair! The finals of the Yellowstone River Roundup Rodeo begins at 7 p.m.!
A reminder from Ray Massie, from MetraPark,
Concessions and daily attendance at the fair were running at or slightly ahead of the record pace set by MontanaFair in 2014. The fair closes Saturday night at midnight.
