A Taste of Comic Con is Coming to Billings

Geeks of Billings, rejoice.  We're finally getting our own version of Comic Con.  A local production group recently announced a three day festival called Tragic City AlternaCon.

Like the popular fan convention that started in San Diego and has since spread all over the world, the Billings AlternaCon will showcase comic books, science fiction and fantasy related movies, television, games, magazine and website.

Tragic AlternaCon promises local freaks and geeks three days of cosplay and revelry July 10th through 12th at the Big Sky Resort.  Planned activities include anime screening, gaming tournaments, storytelling, live music, a circus, a parade and even a dance contest dedicated to filmmaker Quentin Tarantino.
