Herrera wins ASCS Frontier/National at Billings

Johnny Herrera held off the furious challenge of Aaron Reutzel to score the win in Saturday's Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour & ASCS Frontier Region main event at Billings Motorsports Park, earning his second National Tour win of the year and his first ASCS victory in the state of Montana.

The Albuquerque, New Mexico driver, piloting his No. 45x Ostrich-powered Maxim, came from the third starting position and overtook pole sitter Jordan Weaver of Woodward, Oklahoma on the second lap of the event. Herrera would lead the rest of the 30-lap affair around the 3/8-mile clay oval.
