As reported yesterday, 'Fast and Furious' star Paul Walker died tragically in a car crash in California at the age of 40. Walker and his co-stars were taking a Thanksgiving break from filming 'Fast and Furious 7,' which was scheduled to resume shooting next week -- but with the star's life cut short, Universal, director James Wan, and the rest of the team behind the upcoming film face an unfortunate question: how will they proceed with production on the sequel? News has broken today that shooting on the film has been delayed, but 'Fast and Furious 7' is still very much happening.
It is with heavy hearts that we bring you this tragic news at the end of the holiday weekend -- 'Fast and Furious' star Paul Walker has passed away at the age of 40. Walker, who was working on 'Fast and Furious 7' with Vin Diesel and director James Wan, was killed in a car explosion in California on Saturday afternoon.
While we patiently await Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller's 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For,' we've got some potentially exciting news courtesy of the Weinstein Company -- there may be even more 'Sin City' stories in our near future. Along with the upcoming sequel, Bob Weinstein says a television series is also in development. Hopefully we won't have to wait several years to see the results of this project as well.
Following the premiere of the first official trailer for Darren Aronofsky's 'Noah,' we're starting to see alternate versions -- like this international trailer -- pop up. The one above features some new footage sprinkled throughout stuff we've previously seen before. What we have seen already is stunning, and the new imagery is intriguing, like an earlier shot of violence and a couple of additional wide shots of large groups of people descending on the ark itself.
It was hinted yesterday that we'd be seeing a teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar' very, very soon, and now we have official confirmation of where and when fans will be able to sneak their very first peek at the newest film from the 'Dark Knight' director. The teaser will play in front of 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,' which means we'll be seeing it in just a few short weeks!

Although they're still searching for their cast and the script is being reworked, we can report a bit of wonderfully optimistic news: some serious work has reportedly begun on J.J. Abrams' 'Star Wars: Episode 7' -- namely, a very important spacecraft has already been put together. If what we've learned is true, the Millennium Falcon has been built and is ready for take off!
Add 'The Last of the Us' to the pile of projects ready to capitalize on the popularity of zombies in pop culture ... maybe. It is the day after Thanksgiving, so there's no better way to celebrate than by capitalizing on a sure thing.
So far the villain count for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' is pretty high, and with one of the biggest complaints consistently lodged against superhero movies is that there are just too many villains in any one film -- well, the possible addition of yet another 'Spider-Man' villain is a little troubling. But according to a new bit of viral marketing, we may see yet another villain in the upcoming 'Amazing Spider-Man' sequel.
The battle between the 2014 Hercules films continues today with the debut of the trailer for Renny Harlin's upcoming 'Hercules: The Legend Begins,' starring 'Twilight' star Kellan Lutz as the legendary Greek hero. The first trailer is, as we imagined, packed with plenty of shots that call to mind Zack Snyder's '300,' which has become the blueprint for films that involve Greek myth and war.
