The Who‘s ‘Quadrophenia’ is about to get a whole lot bigger.
The double-album rock opera from 1973 will be re-released in November as part of a boxed set compiled by Who guitarist/songwriter Pete Townshend, who says he and singer Roger Daltrey may perform ‘Quadrophenia’ next year on tour.

Nirvana ‘Nevermind’ Deluxe Anniversary Version — New Details Revealed
Demos, B-sides and concert recordings are among the rarities that will be included on not one, but two deluxe 20th anniversary editions of Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ from Universal Music Enterprises.
Originally scheduled for a Sept. 19 release, the digitally remastered and beefed-up ‘Nevermind’ packages will now drop on Sept. 27 — 20 years and three days after the original album arrived.

Star-Studded Eighth Season of ‘That Metal Show’ Begins August 20 on VH1 Classic
A who’s who of hard rock heroes will grace the Los Angeles set of the VH1 Classic series ‘That Metal Show,’ which begins its eighth season Aug. 20 at 11 p.m. ET/PT.
The impressive guest list includes Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, ex-Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and Slipknot/Stone Sour front man Corey Taylor.

Drummer Matt Sorum, of Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver fame, has a new moniker to go along with his new band, Diamond Baby, which recently posted its first music video.
Sorum, who is calling himself Baron von Storm, now keeps the beat for Diamond Baby. The dance-pop quintet’s clip for ‘The Last Rockstar’ features cameos by Motorhead legend Lemmy Kilmister, actor Verne Troyer and actresses Jane Lynch and Juliette Lewis.
