Hearing the start of the interview with Jethro Tull front man Ian Anderson proves beyond doubt that the music Anderson and his band mates have crafted through the decades does indeed stand up well to the test of time. The Associated Press is reporting that Gibson signature artist Slash will make a guest appearance with The Black Eyed Peas during their Super Bowl halftime show. Slash, whose recent solo album featured the Peas’ own Fergie, would follow in a long line of legendary guitarists to rock America’s biggest annual sports event, including Pete Townshend, Prince, Keith Richards and Joe Perry.
