Recording sessions for Aerosmith’s first album of new material in a decade are coming along just fine, according to guitarist Brad Whitford. In a just-published interview with the Boston Herald, Whitford said the band is “really starting from scratch.” The sessions, which are being slotted around Steven Tyler’s American Idol schedule, are taking place at producer Marti Frederiksen’s home studio in Los Angeles.
