In order to ensure that the civilians, police officers, firefighters and emergency personnel who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2011, are not forgotten, the B.A.S.T.A.R.D.S. (Bikers Against Stupid Twits And Really Dumb Sh*ts) Riding Club is sponsoring the 6th Annual 9-11 Remembrance Ride on Sunday, September 11, 2011. In 2010, approximately 120 bikes and 175 motorcyclists participated.

The details of the 9-11 Remembrance Ride are as follows:

  • 10:00 am– Sign-up at Fichtner Chevrolet– 202 SE 4th Street, Laurel
  • 11:00 am – Ride in parade format procession to the Yellowstone County Courthouse – Billings
  • Remembrance Ceremony
  • Dice stop – Bugzy’s
  • Final stop – Tiny’s Tavern

Biker Hold ‘Em poker hands are available for $10.00 each. Prizes will be given to the 1st and 2nd high hands winners, as well as the low hand. This year, Scheels and the B.A.S.T.A.R.D.S. have teamed up to sponsor a raffle for a Remington 700 ADL, in any caliber. The final drawing will be held at Tiny’s on September 11.

All proceeds from the 9-11 Remembrance Ride will be donated to Hometown Troops, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Laurel, MT, that sends care packages to our local military men and women deployed around the world in defense of our freedom. The B.A.S.T.A.R.D.S. are very proud to be able to support such a worthy organization.
