What would MontanaFair be without an appearance by the Bad Larrys?

They are one of the most fun and popular duos to play MontanaFair and this year will be no different as they bring their style and homegrown music to the Exchange Club Patio for the 100th MontanaFair.

Ray Massie, sales and marketing director for MontanaFair, is even letting everyone in on a little secret: The Bad Larrys don't even have a guy named Larry. The Bad Larrys are Jay Aiken and Chris Arndt from Montana's Flathead Valley.

Who knew?

The music from The Bad Larrys is a mix of genuine Americana music mixed with a touch of Prairie Home Companion. Think of it as a mashup of Willie Nelson meets Lake Wobegon, according to Massie.

Their repertoire includes everything from Johnny Cash, Steve Earle, Junior Brown, Southern Culture on the Skids, Simon and Garfunkel, Lyle Lovett, Jerry Garcia, David Grisman, Corb Lund, Greg Brown and even some countrified Aerosmith, Queen and Beyonce.

The guys will appear each night at 6 p.m. at MontanaFair.
