Billings Nondiscrimination Ordinance Work Session Resumes
The Billings City Council work session resumed on Monday night with about a six hour session.At the top of last nights city council work session agenda was the review and commentary of the Nondiscrimination Ordinance draft.
One of the big road blocks that people testifying took offense to, was the wording and definition of homosexuality as,
erotic activity with another of the same sex.
Jennifer Strong spoke her sixty seconds and said,
the feminist movement emasculates men in our society and female is becoming an ambiguous term.
A discussion arose about public restroom use as well, in regards to gender.
The meeting ended just after midnight after citizens commented on 13 proposed changes to the city’s nondiscrimination ordinance. The NDO will be re-addressed again during a July 21st city council work session.
