Billings Shopko Pharmacy Has Closed

The Wisconsin-based retailer Shopko announced late last year it was closing 39 stores in 19 states by the end of this month.  Two Montana stores have already closed: in Plentywood and Wolf Point.  Here in Billings, the Pharmacy closed permanently yesterday.  Prescriptions are to be taken over by Walgreens. Shopko operates over 350 stores in the U.S. and intends to seek bankruptcy protection next week.
