Auggie Smith and Greg Hahn are scheduled to share the stage tomorrow night at the Alberta Bair Theater, that is, if they don't kill each other first. We talked to Greg Hahn yesterday, who told us there is no love lost between the comics.

Evidently, their rivalry goes way back. As Bob and Tom regulars, they have been performing together for years. According to Hahn, their political differences have resulted in several heated backstage arguments. Hahn, who spends his weekdays in mixed martial arts classes, admitted that he has often fantasized about violently attacking Smith.

Mercifully, after finding out that Billings is the hometown of his arch nemesis, Hahn has promised not to assault Auggie when their inevitable argument breaks out backstage. For his part, Smith is no stranger to fisticuffs, having been enrolled in a Billings boxing club as a child.

Fortunately for both comedians, they share a mutual love for alcohol, which has helped them avoid beating each other up. Hahn, who described Smith as the "guy who will show up at 3 a.m. with a fresh case of beer", has a difficult time keeping up with Auggie these days. However, Smith claims that he is a "changed man" after recently becoming a father and vows that he will no longer be drinking after 2 a.m.
