Breaking: Barry Beach Will Remain In Prison
The murder of Kim Nees from Poplar has been one of the most high profile case in Montana since 1979 and it still remains the topic of conversations in 2014.Barry Beach was on trial for the murder when he was 17 years old and sent to prison in Deer Lodge two years after that on 100 year sentence of which he has served over 30 years.
In April of this year Barry Beach filed for clemency and today, June 11th the Montana Board of Pardons in Deer Lodge said,
we do not believe the 30 years Beach has served is long enough for the brutal murder of a teen.
The application for clemency has been denied for Barry Beach! Even with the support of many Billings residents, including Mayor Tom Hanel and Governor Steve Bullock, Beach will remain at the Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge.
