Brrrrrrrrrrrrr. It’s Butt Cold in Billings

The Hawk studios are located on the top floor of the Crowne Plaza Hotel on 27th Street in downtown Billings.  I live 3 blocks away on 24th.  It takes me 5 minutes to walk to work...and that's only when I have to wait to cross the street.

When I woke up this morning, it was -15 degrees.  Needless to say, I wasn't walking.  Instead, I drove to work, parked in the garage across the street and used the downtown Skybridge.  It actually took me longer to find a parking spot than it would have to walk.

For lunch, I usually head down the street and visit one of the many great restaurants in the area.  Once again, I said, "Oh hell no".  Luckily, we work in a hotel, so I ordered room service.

At 5 pm, I usually head across the street and grab a beer during the "Beer Run" segment.  That's not gonna happen either.  And when it's too cold to cross the street for a beer, that's when you know it's way too damn cold outside.

Tonight, I'm gonna drive home, run inside and order pizza.  If you're stuck working outdoors today, it sucks to be you.
