Watch Bruce Springsteen Become A ‘Jeopardy’ Category

If you knew that Bruce Springsteen originally planned to give ‘Hungry Heart’ to the Ramones, you could have won $1,000 on ‘Jeopardy.’ The singer was the subject of a category on the popular long-running game show last night (July 3).

Rolling Stone finds the above video, which shows the contestants having to come up with questions to answers related to the aforementioned ‘Hungry Heart,’ ‘Born to Run,’ ‘Streets of Philadelphia,’ his debut album, ‘Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.‘ and his 2010 performance of ‘Whip My Hair’ on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.’ They were met with varying degrees of success by the three men and women.

Cheekily, four of the other categories on the board were named after Springsteen songs: ‘Born in the U.S.A.,’ ‘Glory Days,’ ‘Cover Me,’ ‘The Ghost of Tom Joad. The sixth, ‘The ‘E’ Street Band,’ dealt with subjects that began with the letter ‘E.’

Springsteen has kept a relatively low profile since wrapping up his most recent tour in mid-May. He will resurface on July 9 with the release of ‘Hunter of Invisible Game,’ a short film he co-directed with Thom Zimny, who has worked with Springsteen on many video projects over the past decade.
