It's been a slow summer for rock concerts in Billings, but this weekend is shaping up to be one of the best of the year for rockers in our neck of the woods.

Of course, the MontanaFair is underway.  Although there are no "classic rock" acts this year, you might want to see the band Train on Saturday night.

Then there's the Magic City Blues Festival with Johnny Lang tonight, Ben Harper tomorrow and Huey Lewis and the News on Sunday.

If you're up for a road trip, the annual Rockin' the Rivers Festival is taking place at The Bridge near Three Forks. This year's line up includes Queensryche, Winger, Lita Ford, April Wine, Jefferson Starship and more.

And you could always head over to the Sturgis for the final weekend of the Buffalo Chip Rally.  Cheap Trick is playing tonight with Sevendust and Buckcherry wrapping up the festival on Saturday.

Whatever you end up doing, here's hoping that your weekend rocks.
