'Interview with the Vampire' became an American movie classic, with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise as the leading vampire gents, and now its director, Neil Jordan, is trying to introduce a new generation to his updated vision of the vampire. See what we mean in the all-new 'Byzantium' trailer after the break.

Replace Pitt and Cruise with Saoirse Ronan and Gemma Arterton, and you've got the basic set up for Jordan's upcoming 'Byzantium.' The 'Host' and 'Grand Budapest Hotel' star plays an age-old vampire with her even older and even more blood-thirsty mother, played by Arterton. The two make their way to a coastal resort, where Ronan's character befriends a human and unveils her dark secret -- that they feed off the blood of humans.

We've already seen the first clip from the film, which was nominated for the 2012 Toronto Film Festival award for Film Presented, and now the new international version of the 'Byzantium' trailer has hit with more horrific details. Jordan's new flick is putting the scare factor back into the vampire movie genre, and we'll hopefully get to see it this year, though the US release is still undetermined.

Check out the new trailer below and let us know what you think of the film in the comments.
