Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fire and Habitat for Humanity has since found a new home on the west end.

We call them spring, summer, winter and fall. For some of you it's road construction season, too dang hot, 3 days of fall colors and then nothing but cold, snow, rain, bad roads, sickness, and shoveling.

Is it time to downsize?  My wife and I have been having this conversation for a few months.  We have reached an age where we don't need a big home.  Most of the kids are grown and on their own.  We really just live our lives in a few rooms, so why not downsize...

I guess I should come clean and let my wife know that someone has been waving to me.

It is special every day to be up so early in the morning and get a view that many people don't see.

I still have enough left in my legs to mow lawns.

I like a good pear, but apparently this store is more about healthy breakfast, lunch and much more.

The hard thing for many parents is to let go.

Here comes the old man rant, so get ready.  Yes, it has been 40 years since I graduated from high school.  I also raised five kids and know what they need to go to school.  My oldest daughter is now a third grade teacher.  Here goes the rant...

Come to think of it, I need to buy some new ceiling fans. I wonder if anyone is hiring.
