This week, I was riding down the elevator from our studios on the 23rd floor of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Billings. Thankfully, I was riding alone, because on the way down, I was forced to break wind. It was pungent.

When the elevator arrived on the 1st floor, the door opened and you'll never guess who was waiting to go up, none other than Billings Mayor Tom Hanel.  There is no way the mayor would have been able to escape the putrid odor that permeated that confined space.  Sadly, I was unable to see the look on his face when he realized that he had been crop dusted.

I'm sure it was a long elevator ride for our poor mayor.  As for me, I've never felt so much civic pride.
