If anyone knows what it's like to get dominated in a big football game, it's Broncos fans.  When I read about Brazil's historic 7-1 blowout loss to Germany in the World Cup yesterday, I immediately knew I had to do something.

After all, it was only a few months ago we were watching our beloved Denver Broncos getting pummeled in the Super Bowl.  Just like the soccer game yesterday, the severity of the ass whooping was both humiliating and demoralizing.

Which is why I've founded a new support group called "Broncos Fans for Brazil".  Since we can feel their pain, it's the least we can do to offer our encouragement and condolences to those shell shocked Brazilian soccer fans.  Just as we felt despondent and discouraged in the days after the Super Bowl, these people are hurting.  We can be there for them with a shoulder to cry on or to lend an ear.  To let 'em know that we know what they are going through.

Sure, it's painful.  But the sun will come up tomorrow in Brazil, just as it did in Denver on the day after the Super Bowl.  Somehow, we managed to get past our grief.  And by offering our support to those devastated Brazilians, we can help them cope with their loss too.
