About a month ago I was cutting my Mother inlaws grass and she has an apple tree. So I picked one (it was green) and took a big bite. Wow it came out as fast as it went in sour sour and nasty. Then I happened to be at Ma's house over the weekend and those apples were red. I figured I should try another and wow what a difference. Hands down one of the best apples I have ever had. I was told that once you get the first frost all the sap heads to the apples and that is what makes them good. I had no idea!
