Here's something we all can agree on.  Thank the heavens that football season is finally back!!!  If you play Fantasy Football, here's an uncomfortable, but necessary, question.  Does you loyalty lie with your Fantasy team or your favorite team?

Before you answer, ask yourself this: if your favorite team's season was on the line and they were playing your starting fantasy QB, who would you be pulling for?  If you can't honestly say that you'd be rooting for your favorite team, then you're not a true fan.

The reason why I don't play fantasy football is because I never want to find myself rooting for the Packers defense to make a play. There are some lines that can't be crossed.  I've heard some fantasy fans rationalize this by suggesting that they won't draft players from their favorite team's rivals.  Which is irrelevant, because at some point, your fantasy will inevitably end up depending on someone who could hurt your real team's chances.

So what's it going to be, fantasy or reality?  I know which side I'm on.  Of course, if you are an Oakland Raiders or Detroit Lions fan, your team has no chance of making the playoffs. Which is why I believe that fantasy football should only be played by those whose real team totally sucks.
