The hot dry weather continues and as of this Friday afternoon, residents near Roundup have been advised to evacuate due to a fire estimated to be 1,200 acres and growing. According to the DES several agencies have responded to the fire.  The North Delphia fire is making it's way to Highway 12 and according to DES, road closures can be expected.  We have several fires burning and the hot weather is not helping.  The Rocky Boy Indian Reservation is going through a critical water shortage due to the heat and the failure of a major water storage tank.  Tribal Water Resources Director Dustin White has warned that as many as 3,000 people could be completely out of water within the next week if residents don't significantly reduce their water usage.  And obviously if you have any outdoor activities, be smart, and hydrate.
