Lockwood, a K-8 district is shooting for a May bond election to expand into 9-12th grade.  Voters passed an initial ballot question in November.  According to an architect leading the project, keeping a proposed Lockwood high school on the current school campus would save about $1 million as opposed to other options.  According to a new Montana law, the district has two years to pass a bond with the price tag for expanding to a high school district.  Plans are in an early stage.
