GONE!

You are looking at the old KMART building on 24th and Central.  I drove by on Sunday and noticed it was gone.  I knew it would be, but I rarely travel to the west end and saw it. A new grocery store will soon be going in.  When I was in 6th grade my family moved to the "new" part of Casa Village.  That meant we were in back of the trailer court behind the  what is now the business section of 24th and Central.  I could actually see KMART from my mom's porch deck.  There were no other trailers, no car dealers, no Rimrock Mall!  In fact I used to ride my bike from my house, through the field that became Rimrock Mall to get to KMART.  Bitter Sweet to see it go, but time moves on.
