'Community' features one of the best comedy ensembles on network television, so it's no surprise the cast are being offered movies. Just today both Gillian Jacobs and Chevy Chase were added to 'Hot Tub Time Machine 2.'

First Deadline broke that Chevy Chase would be return for the sequel, and then added that Gillian Jacobs had been cast as the female lead/love interest. Chase appeared briefly in the first 'Hot Tub Time Machine' as the repairman/mystic who was fully aware of the powers of the hot tub, while Jacobs is new to the series.

One wonders what sorts of conversations the two will have on set, considering Chase famously walked off 'Community' during its fourth season. But they're not the only ones from NBC's Thursday night lineup in the movie, as both Clark Duke and Craig Robinson were on 'The Office' while Adam Scott (who's taking over the leading role from John Cusack) is on 'Parks and Recreation.' Co-star Rob Corddry also has a Thursday night show ('Children's Hospital'), but it airs on Adult Swim. Alas.

Director Steve Pink has returned to helm the sequel, which has just begun shooting. We'd expect to see 'Hot Tub Time Machine 2' hit theaters sometimes around spring of next year.
