Last week, I ranted about the road construction projects in Downtown Billings.  The fact that our city leaders don't have the common sense to realize that closing lanes on all four corners is a dumb idea is aggravating enough.  What's even worse is when you are stuck in traffic for 30 minutes and no actual work is being done on the damn street.

Which begs the question, how many construction workers does it take to fix a water main in Billings?  According to this picture, the answer is 5.  One guy to do the actual work and 4 other dudes to stand around and watch him do it.

At least these one of these guys was actually doing something.  First Avenue was closed off North and South of 27th Street today and their wasn't a single construction crew working on it today.
