I've often made fun of the Starbucks addicts who wait in ridiculously long lines to get their Vente Mocha Double Shot Half Caf whatevers.  I think to myself, "Why not just go 30 seconds up the street to one of the five other coffee places?".

Last week I realized that I have no room to talk. This epiphany happened when I was in the 11th position at The King's Hat waiting to get some lunch.  There were literally 10 cars in front of me; four of which were overflowed out into the street.

I waited through two cars and then realized that based on the average time per car, I was at least 40 minutes from being at the window so I had to go somewhere else.  I think the King's Hat could easily open another location and be successful with both.
