International Rush Day is Coming Up on the 21st

Attention all planets of the solar federation!  Christmas, Hanukkah, Fesitvus, Kwanzaa and New Year’s Eve aren’t the only holidays coming up this month.  Rock fans from all over the world will be celebrating International Rush Day on Sunday, December 21st.

The date, which is written 21/12 in most parts of the world, was created several years ago to commemorate the legendary Rush album 2112.  In the band’s hometown of Toronto, Canada, hundreds of devoted fans gather to celebrate.  There are also several International Rush Day groups of Facebook.  Fans who cannot attend a gathering in person are encourage to spend the day rocking out with the 2112 in its entirety.
