Kia Debuts ‘HotBots’ For Their 2013 Super Bowl Commercial
Kia’s Super Bowl 2013 commercial features attractive robotic attendants who turn out to be not as pleasant as they look. That said, we should mention that we find their cutaway skin a little unsettling — who thought exposed metal joints would be charming?
Admittedly, the customer examining the car is pretty annoying, with his squeaking palms and breathing too near it, but the kick (to check for sturdiness? What?) is the final straw — the android finds that he’s gone too far. Still, doesn’t it seem a little excessive to smash him against the wall? He can’t buy a car with all his limbs broken, Kia.
What do you think of Kia’s HotBots? Creepy or cool?
