Killer Queen Vodka Now Available in the United States

According to legendary Queen guitarist Brian May, his former bandmate Freddie Mercury's favorite libation was vodka. As a tribute to their late, great frontman, Queen announced their own line of "Killer Queen" vodka late last year. This week, it debuted in liquor stores across Europe and is now available for purchase in the United States.

According to the makers of "Killer Queen", the vodka is distilled in the country of Latvia, using a special quartz sand and charcoal filtration process. Each bottle will also feature a panel allowing drinkers to leave a personalized message.

Although the vodka hasn't hit the shelves of American liquor stores yet, fans can purchase "Killer Queen" via the online retailer Drink Up NY. The vodka was recently awarded the prestigious Double Gold Award at annual Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America Spirits Competition.
