`Wildifires In Santa Barbara County Scorch Over 24,000 Acres Amid Heat Wave

As of Sunday night the BLM Type 2 incident Management Team in charge of the Lodgepole Complex Fire said the fire has now reached 226,000 acres in size with 0% containment. 12 homes are know to have been destroyed plus fencing and haystacks. Unkown amount on the loss of livestock.  A cold front is moving in today, which will cause the wind to shift out of the northwest.  There is also a chance of an isolated thunderstorm with dry lighting a strong possibility.  There is a facebook page called "Garfield County LodgePole Complex Fire Relief Group".  Garfield County Commissioner Teddy Robertson reports that the Sand Springs Grocery Store is taking credit card donations for food and other supplies.  Call 406-557-6144 to donate.  The Cenex in Jordan, MT is also accepting donations for fuel to help the volunteer fire fighters.  Call 406-557-2215.  Other items they can use are, Leather gloves, all sizes of batteries for flashlights, fencing supplies, sandwiches, bottled water, lip balm ect... If you are not familiar with the area, it's north east of Billings affecting Jordan, Sand Springs and surround area.
