Lou Gramm will miss a scheduled appearance today (July 19) at the Lake Festival of Nations in Sherbrooke, Quebec, reportedly because of a bout of flu. He'll be replaced by Canadian rockers Honeymoon Suite.

Organizers said they learned of Gramm's illness via email on Thursday. "A doctor's note confirms his inability to travel by air and perform on stage in this state," spokesman Jean-Pierre Beaudoin said (translated) during a news conference.

Gramm made headlines earlier this month when he confirmed a reunion with former Foreigner bandmate Mick Jones. The two are at work on songs that will appear on separate solo projects. Gramm left Foreigner in 2003; his last album with the band dates back to in 1994.

Gramm's next scheduled solo show is July 31 at Hard Rock in Orlando, Florida. Meanwhile, Honeymoon Suite previously appeared at Lake Festival of Nations as an opening act in 2010. The festival runs through July 20 at Parc Jacques-Cartier.
