Once again, we are sad to report another one of those tragic stories that cut across all genres of music. A 28-year old man has died after suffering injuries at a concert in his hometown of from Solothurn, Switzerland on Jan. 22.

According to Blabbermouth, the man, whose name was not given, went into a stage dive at some point during the “Persistence Tour,” which was headlined by Suicidal Tendencies. But the crowd at the Kulturfabrik Kofmehl did not catch him, and he landed on the ground.

“A security guard responded immediately, helped the young man and our emergency unit reacted as well,” said Pipop Kofmehl, who runs the venue, said. “Our team decided, however, that he should immediately seek hospital care.”

Unfortunately, at the Bern University Hospital, the man had an epileptic seizure and died two days later. “This is a huge concern for us,” added Kofmehl. “The whole thing is very, very tragic.”

Swiss police have launched an investigation into the tragedy, per standard procedure.
