Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.': J. August Richards Returns for Two-Part Finale “The Bridge”
The pilot episode of Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ remains the most universally well-received of its eight episodes to date, thought it seems we needn’t wait long for one of its charms to return. ‘Angel’ alum J. August Richards will make his first appearance as the super-strong Mike Peterson since the pilot, as revealed in upcoming two-parter, “The Bridge!”
While next week’s installment will see the focus shift to Ming-Na’s Melinda May for “Repairs,” December 10 episode “The Bridge” will kick off the first half of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”s two-part mid-season finale, returning Richards’ character to the fold as the team takes the fight to their recurring nemesis.
Says ABC of “The Bridge”s initial half:
“The Bridge” – In a shocking cliffhanger episode, Coulson takes the war back to Centipede, and this time he brings in Mike Peterson for some super-soldier support. As they get closer to the truth, startling secrets are revealed and an unexpected twist threatens the team, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Tuesday, December 10.
Guest starring are J. August Richards as Mike Peterson, Ajani Wrighster as Ace, Ruth Negga as Raina, Rick Malambri as Brian Hayward, Molly McCook as Laura Hayward, Cullen Douglas as Edison Po, Rico Devereaux as prison guard and Albert Marrero Jr. as trainer.
