Here at the Hawk, we have, by far, the craziest listeners of any radio station in Billings.  They are all good people and colorful characters, but some of them are off their damn rockers.  Like our friend Ricko Buldin, for example.

Ricko has been a rocker since he was a hellraising teenager.  His misspent youth landed him in reform school, where he and his fellow students formed a band. Before he was out of school, he and his buddies were the "upstairs house band" at a notoriously rowdy dive bar called Range Riders.

Ricko's favorite band is Grand Funk Railroad.  He once had an interesting encounter with their singer Mark Farner at an old bar called the 17 Club.  Ricko was there doing security with the Road Dogs and Mark Farner's tour bus broke down.  Luckily, Ricko was a mechanic and he was able to fix the bus.  They've been pals ever since.  Ricko also got to hang out with the late, great Ronnie James Dio, which he considers one of his personal highlights.
