Mission Mountain at Peak Music Jam 2011
Join us on Saturday July 2nd for an incredible evening of music. Everyone young and old is invited. Food and drinks will be available from multiple venders. Plenty of parking, both free as well as up front pay parking. Headlining the event is everyones favorite Montana bluegrass band Mission Mountain Wood Band. Other guests include Clumsy Lovers, Bucky Beaver Ground Grippers, and Weatherwood.
Mission Mountain Wood Band brings a unique mountain style of music that rolls bluegrass, rock, and country all into one sound. The high energy, fast picking, and electric guitar sounds combine to give audiences a feel good time. Great for dancing and something the whole family can enjoy. Formed in 1971 Mission Mountain has rocked audiences’ nationwide but have stayed true to their Montana background. They continue to create new music and travel sharing their experiences through music and concerts.
Opening band The Clumsy Lovers bring a bluegrass twist combined with Celtic rock and like Mission Mountain bring a load of high energy to the stage. Bucky Beaver Ground Grippers out of Billings play great rock and roll and the Weatherwood trio out of Bozeman will start the show off with some bluegrass picking.
The Town Center in the Big Sky meadow supplies a superb outdoor setting to enjoy this music. With plenty of food and drink, mountain settings and bluegrass music playing it is something the whole family can enjoy. Lots of up front room for dancing and a large area of turf grass to relax and enjoy the music.
Please note that camping will be available on the grounds of the Big Sky Town Center the night of the concert.
