One thing that I love most is history. One of my favorite things about history is seeing the place where I live in old-time photos. It is so interesting to me to see how things were and compare them to how they are now.

I came across this article from onlyinyourstate.com.

It's an article of how things looked in Montana all the way back in 1939. This was long before I was even thought of and even before either of my parents were born.

It was definitely a different world back then. Life seemed to be so simple yet hard. People just looked like they went about their business as usual without the hustle and bustle a lot of us face today.

There were few modern conveniences that we have today. Some of those we have today verses then I would gladly through back just to enjoy some of the features they had back then.

They knew how to work hard for what they had and not complain about the stupid little things in life that just don't matter. Some of us still worked hard today however, attitudes are very different.

It was a hard life for those folks, but for the most part, it was a respected life.
