Growing up in Butte, Tim Montana dreamed that some day he would share the stage with his musical heroes.  Now those dreams are coming true.  Next month, the Montana musician returns to his home state when his band "Tim Montana and the Shrednecks" opens up for ZZ Top in Bozeman.

This won't be Montana's first run in with ZZ Top.  Last year, the Shrednecks, recorded a song with their legendary guitarist Billy Gibbons.  "This Beard Came Here to Party" was adopted by baseball's Boston Red Sox and became the unofficial theme song for their World Series run.

After hearing the finished version of his duet with the Shrednecks, Gibbons invited the band to open several dates on the upcoming ZZ Top tour.  In addition to their Bozeman show on March 26th, the Shrednecks have also scheduled a few headlining dates.  They'll play in Missoula on March 28th before Tim Montana returns to Butte for a special homecoming gig on March 29th.
