Back in April of '14, there was a buzz that the Osbournes would be returning to TV in a reboot of their old reality show. That's'ing great, I thought in true Osbournes fashion. Everything was pretty vague, but then in November things were made a bit more clear. The show was to be a reboot which would air on VH1 and start with a limited number of shows ordered (somewhere between 7 and 10 episodes).

Last week the show was scrapped and VH1 execs gave the official word that the Osbournes would definitely not be returning to TV...at least, not on VH1.

"We are no longer talking to the Osbournes about a series; that's not going to happen," VH1's executive vice president of original programming and production Susan Levison told The Hollywood Reporter. "We wish we could have worked it out, but it just didn't come together for us. The family has been absolutely lovely and we wish them the best. We'd love to figure out a way to work with them at some point in the future."
