The president this week will use his executive powers to enact new background checks for gun purchases. This comes after the San Bernardino massacre by terrorists.

The president believes that tougher gun laws can prevent these type of incidents. Then why didn't he use these powers in 2008?

Just think of all the massacres that he could have prevented. Does he also then have to take responsibility for the ones that happened knowing his actions could have stopped them? The answer is obviously no.

The president knows that no gun law will prevent a bound-and-determined jihadist from terrorism.

I guess that the Iranians are the only ones we can trust with deadly weapons -- not Americans
