Get ready, folks, 'cause that crazy-awesome 'Pacific Rim' trailer that debuted during WonderCon has been released online for all to see, and the footage is exactly what it says, "2,500 tons of awesome!"

We were pretty pumped to see Guillermo del Toro's giant robot-vs-monsters movie come alive on the big screen, but now that Warner Bros. has decided to release this new piece of footage, which was originally intended only for the WonderCon crowd, we're simply jumping out of our seats.

As per the official plot synopses:

When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge.

The 'Pacific Rim' trailer from WonderCon has everything you might want to see from this film -- visually stunning monsters bursting out of the ocean, a giant Jaeger bot swinging an oil tanker like a baseball bat, Ron Perlman in some stunner shades, and action, action and more action. Take a look for yourself below.

'Pacific Rim' hits theaters July 12!
