Just when we thought the Grammy Awards might not actually suck this year, today Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr announced that their much publicized Beatles' Tribute will not be taking place at the Grammy ceremony on Sunday night.

Instead, the two surviving Beatles will reunite the following evening at a star studded concert to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of their legendary performance on "The Ed Sullivan Show".  The Night That Changed America:  A Grammy Salute to the Beatles will be held in Los Angeles on Monday night and is slated to air on the CBS Network Sunday February 9th.

While they will not be performing at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, both Starr and McCartney are expected to attend the event.
