Time to break out the laser light shows, Pink Floyd fans: Your first taste of the band's new 'Endless River' LP is here.

Admittedly, it's little more than a snippet of a guitar solo, but it definitely sets a tone for the mostly instrumental project, and reinforces the previous press release description of the disc as containing "mellifluous keyboards, jazz-tinged drums, musique concrete, ethereal vocals and distinctive, emotional lead guitar." We can quibble over whether this is a "real" Floyd album -- and be annoyed that it contains only one track with vocals -- but for this clip still sounds pretty sweet.

It's being hosted over at Pink Floyd's official site, along with a wide variety of information about the album -- including what exactly comes bundled in with the music when you buy the different configurations. The standard CD, double-LP vinyl and deluxe box all include photos from the 1993 sessions that started 'The Endless River,' although the box adds eight pages to the standard 16-page booklet, along with a trio of postcards and the album on DVD and Blu-ray (including 39 minutes of "non-album audio-visual material" and three bonus tracks).

As is traditionally the case with hi-def remasters, the 'Endless River' DVD and Blu-ray offers the album in a variety of mixes -- on the former, fans can choose between a pair of 5.1 surround mixes and a PCM stereo mix, all mastered at 48/24; on the Blu-ray, you have the same options, only mastered at 96/24. The video track listing includes 'Anisina,' 'Untitled,' 'Evrika (a),' 'Nervana,' 'Allons-y,' and 'Evrika (b),' while the bonus audio is listed as 'TBS9,' 'TBS14,' and 'Nervana.' As previously reported, 'The Endless River' is expected in stores on Nov. 10, and available for pre-order now.
