What is that nursery rhyme?  One, two, buckle my shoe.

Three, four, open the door.

Five, six, pick up sticks.

Seven, eight lay them straight.

Nine, ten, a big, fat hen!

Let's "stick" with the five, six, pick up sticks, shall we?

I did a bunch of yard work the other day around the old homestead. Like a responsible homeowner, I put all the yard waste into the green receptacle that the city provided me.

I put said receptacle on the street edge for pickup on garbage-collection day.

I did my part of the waste removal, wouldn't you say?

When I got home from work, after the waste management people, I think that is the politically correct term, came and emptied the cans, this is what I was left with.

Really?

Come on, if you spill it, pick it up.  It wasn't on the ground when you got there. Why would you leave it on the ground when you leave?
