Since the fire that destroyed Habitat For Humanity's 'ReStore' in late November 2018, the mission to build homes for "deserving home buyers that have a household in need of simple, decent and affordable housing" continues to move forward.

Habitat for Humanity is actively searching for a new location that will house 'ReStore' and Habitat's administrative offices while continuing to develop a subdivision off Hawthorne Lane where 12 homes plan to be built on a 5.5 acre site starting in the fall of this year.

Emily Nantz, Volunteer Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity Mid-Yellowstone Valley, reported Habitat is losing approximately $10,000 a week since the fire so "the need is still tremendous."

Donations for Habitat For Humanity Mid-Yellowstone Valley can be mailed directly to PO BOX 3133, Billings, MT 59103 or by stopping into any Stockman Bank location.  Contributions can also be made on the Habitat website HERE or on their FACEBOOK page.

Habitat for Humanity Mid-Yellowstone Valley is currently building their 82nd home since starting their affiliation in 1992.
