Richie Sambora, Bon Jovi guitarist, is ready to rejoin Bon Jovi’s European tour.

The 51-year-old guitarist was at New York's John F. Kennedy Airport on Sunday and told TMZ.com he's "doing excellent," before saying he had no plans to stay in the city because he was “going out to Europe right now.”

The veteran rock star entered rehab for exhaustion and alcohol abuse in April after spending most of 2010 on tour. "Richie has had a busy year," a friend told RadarOnline.com. “I think this was a culmination of the things that overloaded his life and finally he realized he needed to take care of himself."

In 2007, Sambora checked into rehab following his divorce from Heather Locklear, his wife of 16 years, and the death of his father.

Sambora’s likely return comes in time for a global broadcast of Bon Jovi’s Munich show on 12 June. The band will be streaming the first 30 minutes of their show live from Olympic Stadium in Munich, Germany, in front of an 80,000 strong audience and millions watching via the Internet, courtesy of Ustream.
