With plenty of buzz from this weekend's upcoming Justin Timberlake-hosted installment of 'SNL, the long-running sketch comedy series seems to have gotten the message to stick with its strongest players. Following the success of 'Identity Thief,' Melissa McCarthy will return to the 'SNL' stage for the second time in two years, hosting the April 6 installment, but who will join the 'Mike & Molly' star as musical guest?

We're hoping that 'SNL' has officially gotten over its habit of using musical acts as hosts (Justin Timberlake excluded, of course), as the latest comedic actor tasked for the April 6 episode is a good sign of things to come. Following this weekend's outing with five-time host Justin Timberlake, the April 6 'SNL' will feature fellow returning host Melissa McCarthy making her second appearance on the program.

McCarthy was well-received the first time around in October 2011 for committing to all the sketches, even when the writing failed to keep up. No musical guest has yet been released for the episode, where back in 2011 McCarthy was joined by Lady Antebellum.

What say you? Are you excited to see Melissa McCarthy return to the 'SNL' stage on April 6? Who would you like to see tapped as host before the year is out?
