What a difference a day makes. Yesterday we received 6 to 8 inches of snow.  A winter warning issued for Yellowstone County expired last night but the poor road conditions continued.  Does anyone remember the big snow storms in Billings in the mid 1970s?  I was a teenager then, but remember how people could actually drive. Now, I'm afraid of the people behind me on the road.  Good news for Montana is that the snowpack remains close to average despite a mild winter, thanks to some snow from this past fall.
