From the band's earliest days Young had issues to deal with, including the onset of epilepsy, constant drug use, and apprehension about the band management and the music business in general. On May 5, 1968, Buffalo Springfield gave their final performance as a group. </p>

<p>Folk-rock pioneers Buffalo Springfield will tour again this summer. According to <a href="http://www.crawdaddy.com/index.php/2011/03/30/buffalo-springfield-annouce-first-tour-in-over-four-decades" target="_blank"><em>Crawdaddy </em>magazine</a>, the band will go on the road for the first time in 43 years, starting June 1 at Oakland, CA, and finishing at Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN, on June 11.</p>
<p>Founding members Neil Young, Stephen Stills and Richie Furay will be joined by Rick Rosas in place of the late Bruce Palmer, while CSN drummer Joe Vitale will take the place of the late Dewey Martin.</p>
